Clark's Painting has done it again-- a miraculous transformation of cracked, pitted, and pitiful walls into smooth colorful surfaces! After I removed four coats of paint and a layer of wallpaper on my 80-year-old lath and plaster walls, Clark's professionals prepped the surfaces thoroughly, and finished them beautifully. It's hard to believe that huge cracks, uneven treatments, and gouged surfaces could be made so uniform.

Clark is delightful to work with-- his color suggestions for my dining room, entry and living rooms all complement one another. These are painting pros, with a real bonus: they leave all surrounding space neat and clean. Thorough, efficient, and respectful--what more could one ask?

Clark Mariotti and his crew did a thorough and professional interior and exterior painting job on our home in San Francisco. While we initially hired Clark's Painting Company to paint the house's exterior along with the new wood windows, we quickly found other needs in the process which Clark's team easily handled. For example, Clark identified wood erosion above the garage due to a leak in our bay window and was able to not only repair and re-paint the wood, but also repair our roof leak. Clark and his crew were timely and thorough and performed the tasks they promised. Our house looks great, both inside and out thanks to him.

After a careful selection process we chose to hire Clark's Painting for a major exterior paint job on are triplex. There was a lot of repair work and prep work required since the work was long over due. Clark was more than helpful in all areas of the project, from color selection to basic carpentry (including down spouts). The work was done with excellent communication and personal contact as well as good humor and respectfulness both us and our neighbors). I am pleased to say that the overall work has been one of those rare experiences where the outcome has exceeded my admittedly high standards. Marcus Winn


We purchased a new house and wanted to paint the entire 2650 sq ft

interior prior to moving in.  The painting job included removing

textured vinyl wallpaper from every room, a lot of prep work, changing

the trim from varnished wood to a light colored paint, and highlighting

molding on the ceilings and walls.  The job was further complicated by

having some construction done concurrently in 2 rooms, and by a fixed 5

week timeline from house purchase to move in.


We were very lucky to have Clark and his team do the work.  Clark was

highly conscious of the deadline without ever compromising the quality

of the work.  He was quick to discuss issues and propose fixes for

them.  He struck up a helpful and collaborative relationship with the

other contractors working on our home.


The house looks fabulous.  We moved in on time with all the work

complete.  The final bill was true to the original estimate.

Many people feel the need to speak up when things go wrong. I like to speak up when things go right.


As you remember, my husband and I were at the end of our tether with regard to our construction remodel by the time we were in need of a painter. We received bids from six painting contractors, including you, all licensed and insured. Yours was one of the most competitive, but that was not what sold us. Your professionalism and genuine optimism were a remarkable contrast from the many other contractors we had dealt with.


Specifically, the following are what we appreciated from you the most: your patience and highly trained eye in aiding in color selection; your explanation of cost and suggestions of how to minimize them; your reliability; your tenacity and your obvious dedication to your craft.


Our entire home looks fabulous (especially the kitchen!), and I do not exaggerate when I tell you that every one who has entered it have commented on the fantastic paint job, both inside and out.

Katie Creighton

 


Recently Clark Mariotti painted most of the inside of our house, and it all went beautifully. Clark's estimate was very reasonable, and he was very responsive to emails and timing, even starting the job early! During the week and a half he was working here, he was always prompt, communicative, tidy, and efficient. He also has a good eye for color, and helped with choosing colors when we were indecisive. We were extremely pleased with his work, and highly recommend him. After learning of his previous experience as a carpenter, we hired him to build some steps with a landing into our lower level. That project turned out very well also. All in all, Clark's Painting gets 5 stars from us!
